M-Tech supplies a variety of dehydrated media pads, as well as a range of agars and broth media.

Dehydrated nutrient pad sets

Nutrient pad sets (NPS) are sterile, dehydrated culture media, ready for immediate use after addition of water. Shelf life of the sealed original package at room temperature is at least one year. Nutrient pads (NPs) are obligatorily used in combination use with membrane filtration technique.

The pads are made of biologicaly inert cellulose cardboard that does not bind the nutrient medium chemically as compared to conventional agar culture media.
